Neighborhood Café

Come experience a day of interactive learning and identifying opportunities to convert our current dining rooms into “neighborhood cafes”.

Where Everybody Knows Your Name...

Neighborhood dining takes many forms – some neighborhoods dine in a simple, down-home dining experience; other households/neighborhoods enjoy white tablecloth fancy dining. All households/neighborhoods share one commonality – a friendly place where neighbors come together in fellowship.

It’s a Neighborhood Café, a place where all the neighbors (residents as we used to refer to them) feel comfortable visiting. They’re familiar with everyone who lives in the neighborhood, and everyone who works in the café. The café is their “Cheers” - where everybody knows their name. It’s a getaway destination where everyone is helpful, caring, and there’s always something delicious to eat. It’s a place to talk and share stories, a place to discuss the problems of the world, rant about politicians, or brag on your favorite team. It’s a place where relationships are made, hugs are abundant and cares of the day melt away. It’s a place where families love to visit or spouses enjoy some personal time together. It’s a special neighborhood destination.

So, let’s keep dreaming about what our café could look like. Come experience a day of interactive learning and identifying opportunities to convert our current dining rooms into “neighborhood cafes”.
